Queens, a four minute logic break
The viral chessboard logic puzzle.
Rule · One queen per row, column, region.
Logic3–6 minplacementregionsno touch constraint
Queens is the flagship and the one most people start with. The rule fits in a sentence: one queen in every row, column and coloured region, no two touching. What makes it a ritual is that each daily board hides exactly one logical path, so every solve feels earned rather than guessed.
A round starts gently, the first queens place themselves, then the last rows demand the real deduction. When the daily board is not enough there are over 1,500 handcrafted puzzles waiting on the Queens site.
